Story of Addison buoni
Roberto Clemente inspired me to play softball. When I was younger, I went to a Pittsburgh Pirates game and learned all about him. I learned that he was not only an amazing baseball player but also an amazing person. He was a leader on and off the field often putting others before himself. He, unfortunately, died in a plane crash while returning from a humanitarian mission to help earthquake victims in Nicaragua.
As a softball player, I strive to be like Roberto Clemente. I want to compete at the highest levels while using my athletic gifts to help others. My goal is to be a leader on and off the field always building up my teammates, never down.
